The 12 Salvation Verses

Have you ever wondered, what must I do to be saved? Understood rightly, these 12 scriptures from the Gospel of John are a help in coming to realize the foundations of being saved now and attaining salvation finally. As you grow in understanding these verses, you can grow in living according to them. This is how you “through the encouragement of the scriptures may abound in hope.” (Rom. 15:4) Read them and study them, as well as the Bible studies associated with them below. John 1:12

But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name,

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17

For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

John 3:36

The one believing into the Son has everlasting life; but the one disobeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

John 5:24

Truly, truly, I say to you, The one who hears My Word, and believing the One having sent Me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

John 6:37

All who the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will not cast out, not ever,

John 8:12

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. The one following Me will not walk in the darkness, not ever, but will have the light of life.

John 10:9

I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in, and will go out, and will find pasture.

John 11:25

Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. The one believing into Me, though he die, he shall live.

John 14:6

Jesus says to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father if not through Me.

John 20:31

But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
