Overcoming Your Fear of Death

Everyone, whether they admit it or not, has a natural fear of dying. Knowing ourselves to be sinners, and God perfectly righteous, intensifies this fear. Death is unavoidable, and comes to all of us eventually. But most people studiously avoid the subject until it catches them by surprise.

There is a better way. According to Jesus, there is only one way to face, and actually overcome, this overwhelming fear that has us in bondage (Heb. 2:15).

He came to set us free from it.

This “chapter” is an introduction to that way. It’s a compilation of some of the verses in the Bible that deal with our fear of death and how to overcome it. There are many more. If this is helpful to you, we hope you will continue to search the Scriptures for yourself to learn of the real hope that is only available in Christ!
